The Nevada Tobacco Users' Helpline™ is a statewide nicotine dependence treatment center that treats all forms of tobacco (smoked/smokeless). The program is: 1) medically driven, 2) research and evidenced-based, 3) follows Center For Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion 'Best Practices', and Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality Guidelines (AHRQ).

George Kaiser, M.D., Medical Director, is an Associate Professor with University of Nevada School of Medicine, Department of Internal Medicine, and an Addictionologist.

Elizabeth Fildes, Ed.D, D.A.C., R.N, Clinical Director, is a Clinical Assistant Professor with the University of Nevada School of Medicine, Department of Internal Medicine.

All Nevada Tobacco Users' Helpline™ Counselors are either State of Nevada Board of Examiners certified or licensed for Alcohol and Drug Addictions counseling. Additionally, the counselors are trained in nicotine addiction treatment.
